One technology, many possibilities

Electron beam curing (EBC) represents the next generation of functional surfaces.

Without photoinitiators, without solvents, and without thermal stress, highly crosslinked coatings with maximum performance are created.

Through the targeted use of acrylate resins, we create surfaces that set new standards in scratch resistance, chemical resistance, and durability – efficiently, reproducibly, and sustainably.

EBC is not a process for us – it is the standard.

Electron beam curing is one of the most powerful technologies for crosslinking coating systems. Unlike conventional curing methods such as thermal drying or UV curing, crosslinking takes place without photoinitiators and without additional heat, directly through high-energy electrons. This enables particularly deep, uniform, and extremely efficient curing – even in complex multilayer structures.

The result is surfaces with outstanding scratch resistance, chemical resistance, and long-term stability that can only be achieved with difficulty or not at all using conventional methods. At the same time, EBC enables the use of 100% solids systems, allowing emission-free processes and maximum material efficiency to be realized.

We deliberately use acrylate resins, which are ideally suited for electron beam curing due to their high reactivity and versatile, adjustable properties. This allows surfaces to be precisely engineered in terms of hardness, flexibility, haptics, and appearance – tailored to the respective application.

For us, EBC is not just a technology, but a clear strategic focus. We have consistently aligned our processes accordingly and are now among the leading providers in this field. By combining electron beam curing with precise application and innovative surface design, we create solutions that set benchmarks in quality, performance, and sustainability.
